This policy is a legally binding agreement between you and this website. If you are entering into this policy on behalf of a business or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this policy, in which the terms “you” or “your” shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you disagree with the terms of this policy, you must not accept this policy and may not access or use the website and services. By accessing and using the website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this policy.

Personal data is processed where necessary for the proper functioning of a website, for its continuous improvement, and for the provision of our content, products, and services. Below you will find information on the data we collect from website visitors, how we use it, and how it is processed by third parties where necessary.

The website is generally hosted on Hostinger servers, and your personal data is processed in Switzerland. Any exceptions to this are detailed below.

Personal Information Collection

You can access this website and browse the site without telling us who you are or revealing any information by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual.

This website is directed to individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any personal information through the website and services. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information to us through the website, please get in touch with us to request that we delete that information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage to help enforce this policy by instructing their children never to provide personal information through the website without their permission.

We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us when you subscribe to our mailing list, fill out any form on the website, or publish comments, such as names and e-mail addresses.

Personal Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain information about you and the device you use to access the website. For example, when you use the website, we will log your IP address, operating system type, browser type, referring website, pages you viewed, and the dates/times when you accessed the website. We may also collect information about actions you take on the website, such as links you click.

Information Collected via Gumroad

When you buy one of our digital products via Gumroad, the sale and any tax collection is between you and Gumroad as the merchant of record. Gumroad only provides us with your name and email address upon a successful purchase or free download. We use this information solely to send you important updates, new versions, and new products available on Gumroad, and to provide you with personalized support if you contact us regarding your purchase.

These update emails are sent through Gumroad's platform. Your ability to receive these product-specific communications is managed entirely by your Gumroad notification settings. If you do not wish to receive these updates, you can unsubscribe directly through your Gumroad account settings. Please note that unsubscribing may prevent you from receiving important information about updates, new features, or additional content for the products you own.

We do not use the name and email address provided by Gumroad for our own general marketing newsletters outside Gumroad. You will only be added to our independent marketing list if you explicitly opt in on our website. We do not sell or rent the information received from Gumroad to any other parties.

Third-Party Use of Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

Their respective privacy policies dictate each third-party service provider’s use of your personal information. The website currently uses the following third-party service providers:

  • POWR: We use the POWR Comments system to facilitate user comments. When you submit a comment, POWR collects the data shown in the comments form (name, email, and comment text) and may also collect your IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection and functionality.

  • Hostinger Reach: We use this service to deliver email updates, blog posts, and newsletters. We store your name and email address for the purpose of providing such communication. Hostinger Reach, let us know how you interacted with your emails.
